[notice]Resident in 3800 and 3802 are still without heat.[/notice]We were able to install a number of butterfly valves that allowed us to better isolate the buildings effected by the leak. It appears the leak was in an outgoing (to 3800 and 3802) heat pipe in a 3814 wall. They were able to dig out the pipe today, and a welder will be on site tomorrow. If everything goes well, we’re hoping we’ll have heat restored to both 3800 and 3802 as well.
I do apologize for the inconvenience. We’re working as fast as we can to maintain, replace, and repair the infrastructure without drastic increases in condo fees or special assessments, but it’s going to take time, and occasionally we’ll have to address some of these issues after the fact and not before.
