We’ve heard reports that some residents are experiencing brown or “dirty” looking water. Rest assured, we’ve looked into the issue. As it turns out, we checked with WSCC, and they’ve been flushing fire hydrants in the area. This causes sediment had been resting in base of the pipes to get stirred up, primarily iron and manganese, which leads to the discoloration. The water is perfectly safe for cooking, drinking, and bathing, however it might be best to wait to wash your whites until the discoloration has passed, which should be relatively soon (if it hasn’t already).

[warning]There is scheduled condo wide hot water and heat outage for Thursday, January 22nd, from approximately 7AM to 3:30PM.[/warning]

This outage is in support of some final work to the heating and hot water systems in the boiler room.

Once restored, it will take approximately an hour for the temperatures to reach their set point.
