Annual Meeting Redux – Wed Jul 7th, 7:30 PM

Most of you by now should have already received notice that unfortunately we did not achieve a quorum (in this case representation of 104 units) on June 16th, and so we were unable to hold the annual meeting. As such we were forced to reschedule the annual meeting to Wednesday, July 7th, 2010 at 7:30 PM in the 3842 basement File Room.

At that time, all people present either in person or by proxy will constitute a quorum and the meeting will proceed. The primary focus of the meeting is the election of3 new board members.

We encourage all owners to plan to attend the meeting, and those who are unable are encourage to fill out their proxy and return it ASAP so that their voice can be heard.

We wish the best of luck to all the candidates, and look forward to seeing them and you at the meeting!

What’s my condo fee?

All owners should have now received a copy of the FY11 budget. This budget is effective from July 1, 2010 until June 31, 2011.

There has often been some confusion regarding just what the condo fees are for each unit. There are many different ways that condos choose to divvy up these fees, ranging from the number of bed rooms to the selling price of the unit. At Grand Bel Manor the fees are determined based on a units percentage interest in the complex, as laid out in the declarations of the condominium – a copy of which all owners should have received from the seller when they purchased their unit.

Annual Meeting – Wed, Jun 16th, 7:30 PM

Sorry for all the updates close together, but at least this one is well in advance!

The annual meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, June 16th, at 7:30 PM.

This year there are 3 positions opening on the board (this is a correction of the initially stated 2). Charlotte Nettelton, Jean Clarren, and Yohanna Mora’s terms are up. Jean and Yohanna are running for reelection, but all owners in good standing who think they could make a difference on the board are encouraged to apply.

As I find the time, I plan to post additional copies of the Candidate Interest Form, as well as more details on the meeting.
